In response to the increasing number of deported Guatemalan migrants, Fundación Itzamná y Milenaria reaffirms its commitment to education and social development. Our Migrant Educational Support Program aims to facilitate the reintegration of returnees into Guatemalan society and the labor market by providing training and support to ensure their stability and growth.
Through this program, we offer education at various levels, including early childhood, primary, secondary, high school, and university. Additionally, we implement technical and technological training aligned with the country's current needs, allowing beneficiaries to acquire key skills for employment and entrepreneurship.
As part of our commitment to labor inclusion, we support migrants with English proficiency by connecting them with companies seeking employees with this skillset. However, our program is not limited to English-speaking migrants. We also work to facilitate job opportunities in various sectors, aligning with the work experience migrants have gained abroad.
To enhance their employment prospects, we offer certifications endorsed by our strategic partners, validating and recognizing the skills and experience of our beneficiaries. This improves their competitiveness in the Guatemalan job market. With this comprehensive approach, we aim to dignify the lives of returned migrants and actively contribute to their reintegration and progress.
